Gareth Gwilt
Head of Operations
Gareth has spent over 10 years working in historic houses in a variety of operational roles. Working for National Trust, English Heritage and more recently Blenheim Palace his roles have encompassed conservation and maintenance management, visitor operations and more recently public and private event planning and management. Gareth manages the operational teams at Ditchley overseeing the Domestic and Estates staff as well as Chefs, Butlers and waiting team.
He is a keen but very amateur gardener and has a passion for the traditions involved in how a country estate runs. He has two daughters and enjoys spending any free time with the family.
