Ditchley Interns and Alumni Network
Ditchley's Internship Programme comprises both the core summer internships and a series of term-time internships, with interns going on to be part of our active alumni network.
The Ditchley Internship Programme provides the long-term foundation for our vision to seek out emerging talent on a global basis, helping to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow and inspiring them to engage with our work connecting people from across the world to help sustain peace, freedom and the rule of law.
Our highly sought-after programme provides the opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds to experience the Ditchley model of leadership, engage in career development, learn new skills and participate in our network – gaining exposure to new people and ideas.
Catalysing Youth Engagement
An important aspect of the programme are sessions focusing on the skills needed to take on effective leadership roles. Students will become a part of the Ditchley family, becoming part of a vibrant alumni network, attending selected Ditchley events and witnessing the important work that the Foundation undertakes. Mentorship opportunities are also available.
Since the internship programme’s inception in 2019, we have developed an active network of over 220 alumni, with whom we connect regularly via events, debriefs, intern and alumni gatherings, lunches and dinners.
The Ditchley Internship and Alumni Network is also a key element of our talent pipeline, with intern alumni frequently going on to take up entry-level roles at Ditchley and supporting in the creation, curation and continued engagement of networks across our thematic areas.
