Ellen Klein

Programme Associate

Ellen earned her BA in History as a Crankstart Scholar at the University of Oxford. In her term breaks she interned with the Ditchley Foundation, producing a satellite cybersecurity conference proposal. Additionally, Ellen co-founded koralli Consulting, was an executive member of the Oxford Diplomatic Society, and took part in Varsity Squash competitions.

She has held several roles in various other public policy and government affairs positions, including at the Heritage Alliance and Publishers Association, working on AI-IP and copyright exhaustion policy including by co-authoring a formal response to the UK’s AI regulation white paper, producing the Parliamentarians Summer Reading List (2023), and building a stakeholder map of projected 2024 London MPs.

Ellen is a regular (if somewhat reluctant) cold swimmer, from competing in national biathlon meets as a teenager to annually plunging into the Channel on Christmas day. She can often be found wearing an orange winter coat (closely resembling a shaggy rug), playing online chess and listening to podcasts.
