Mr Jonathan Pruzan

Co-President, Pretium; Former Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Morgan Stanley

Jonathan Pruzan is Co-President of Pretium, where he oversees the Firm’s strategic and operational initiatives. Prior to joining Pretium, Pruzan spent more than 29 years at Morgan Stanley, serving as its Chief Financial Officer during a period of significant growth and strategic expansion (2015-2021). Pruzan was also Morgan Stanley’s Chief Operating Officer from 2021-2023, and Head of Corporate Strategy (2016-2021). He served on the Operating, Management, and Risk Committees and the Morgan Stanley/MUFG Global Steering Committee.

Before becoming CFO, Pruzan spent over two decades in the Global Financial Institutions Group within Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division, leading the group from 2010 to 2015. He began his career at Paine Webber in the Financial Institutions Group from 1990 to 1994.

Pruzan serves on the Board of Trustees of Tufts University and is a Life Trustee of New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He is a Trustee Emeritus and past Board Chair of Summer Search NY, an educational non-profit. Pruzan graduated from Tufts University in 1990 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics.

Currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Tufts University, New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He is Trustee Emeritus of Summer Search, an education non-profit, and a member of the Economic Club of New York. Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (Tufts University).
