Ditchley Chairman's Dinner 2025

This year the event also served as a farewell to and celebration of Jonathan, Lord Hill of Oareford's time and achievements as Ditchley Chairman. His term limit of eight years completed, he will be stepping down from the role on 1st January 2026. 

Lord Hill will be succeeded as Chair of Ditchley’s Council of Management by Dame Karen Elizabeth Pierce DCMG. Dame Karen will be Ditchley’s 14th Chair and the first woman to hold the position.

The dinner was a festive affair, with spirits undampened by rain, and gathered an eclectic group of around 60 participants, including both the outgoing and incoming Chairs, as well as a mix of eminent policymakers, businesspeople, economists and academics.
