A walk around the lake with... Jeremy Bowen
War Stories: Iran, the Middle East, and the “war on truth”
In episode #4 of our video interview series, The Ditchley Foundation’s director, James Arroyo, walks around the lake and talks with the BBC’s International Editor Jeremy Bowen about the war in Iran, the significance of the Middle East in geopolitics, the value of reporting on the ground, and much more. Formerly the BBC’s Middle East editor, Jeremy has spent some 40 years covering more than 90 countries and 20 wars, interviewing world leaders and documenting war crimes.
[Please note: This interview was recorded on Friday, April 17, so the situation in Iran may have changed.]
Tickets are now on sale online for Jeremy Bowen’s Truth Under Fire 2026 tour.
