Ditchley Summer Intern Programme
Job Description
Contract: 21 hours/week
Deadline: 5th May 2026
Ditchley is seeking motivated students for our annual summer internship, a six-week, part-time (21 hours/week) remote placement, starting on either the 15th or 29th of June. Interns will contribute to an essential research initiative mapping global influence across fields such as international security, energy, and politics, while exploring the role of emerging AI tools in strategic research. An optional quantitative strand offers applicants the opportunity to apply data analytics and statistical modelling to visualise and interpret these complex networks. Beyond the core project, the programme offers dedicated leadership training, signature "Ditchley-style" debates, and access to a vibrant alumni network. We welcome applications from students in their second year of study or beyond—please note that first-year students are not eligible—with a stipend paid at the Oxford Living Wage (£14.06/hr). Applications close at 9am on 5 May.
The full project description can be found here and applications should be submitted here.
