House and Collections Care Manager
Nicole joined The Ditchley Foundation as House and Collection Care Manager in January 2023 to manage the conservation of Ditchley Park’s interiors and exquisite fine art and furniture collection, bringing its care in line with national standards. For the previous 7 years since leaving university, Nicole developed a range of experience in preventive conservation and collections management working for the National Trust across a variety of historic environments, including country estates, ruined castles, and urban Arts and Crafts houses. Nicole has a Masters by Research in English Literature, studying marginalia and annotations in Reformation era religious texts, research which she intends to continue. When not working in a historic house Nicole enjoys visiting them with her fiancé and is an avid reader.
